Avid Accents Decor: Travel Themed Bridal Shower

I love doing themed events. This bride to be wanted a bridal shower that reflected her love of Kate Spade and traveling with her fiancé. So of course the pink, black, white and gold color scheme fit.

Here's the tablescapes. I chose a striped runner, hot air balloon centerpieces, gold chargers with a pop of color on top. Let's take a closer look.

Handmade hot air balloon centerpieces were a nice touch to reflect the traveling theme. The pink flowers help bring in the feminine touch of Kate Spade.

Alongside the hot air balloons were little frames with quotes from the groom to be on a map background. The glitter on the jars added a little sparkle to the event. You can't go wrong with sparkle.

The last touch on the tablescape was the gold charger with the event's program mocking a Passport. Then we added a striped napkin shaped like a bow on top. A cute Kate Spade touch.

This was all about creating an elegant wow factor with the theme. I kept the gold, white and pink. This couple wanted desserts from around the world so as you can see there's an assortment of international desserts.

The highlight is this naked cake that sits on a hand painted suitcase. With the couple's initials and a love is sweet heart sign on top. A gold plane and a gold heart cage tops this decor off.
